Packing

Packing and container loading

How copra is packed decides how it is lined, weighed and loaded. Settle it in the RFQ.

Why pack type matters

Bags, bales and bulk fill a container differently, so the tonnes per container change with them. Pages we read quote different figures per 20-foot container.

Under research, not yet verified · Supplier claims from listings read 2026-10-20; none are Kora data.

Before loading

  • Ask who inspects the container floor and walls.
  • Ask whether a moisture reading is taken at loading.
  • Keep photos of the loaded container with the seal number.
